Pr. Farid Touati is a Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering of Qatar University and has over 30 years of accumulated expertise in developing innovative technologies and methods in RE, sensors, embedded systems, and industrial electronics. He has more 300 papers, several books/book chapters, patents, and honors. He has been leading high-profile projects successfully (worth $10.0+ million), including NSF-EPSCoR/NSF 00-43 Grant, Alabama Research Infrastructure on “Integrated MEMS Photonics for Computer and Communication Systems (2001-2004). He is a member of IEEE, APS, IASTED/USA. He is Editor Member for the Journal of Industrial Electronics and Applications and Associate Editor of IST Transactions Biomedical Sciences and Engineering and IST Transactions of Renewable and Sustainable Energy.
