Biography
Yousra Ferchichi holds a Master’s degree in Cross-Cultural Studies in English, a CELTA certificate, and is currently specialized in Digital Humanities. She is a teacher trainer in TESOL and a coach, where she assists professionals in revitalizing their skills, developing a strategic plan for personal branding, and incorporating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) not only in education but also in their related professional fields. She currently works as an English language instructor at MUST University. From late 2022 until recently, she held the position of Media and Public Relations Manager at TEFL Kuwait. Yousra is also a member of various teacher associations, including TESOL International, Nile TESOL, Africa ELTA, and Tesol Kuwait, where she engages in professional learning networks for teacher development. She is passionate about establishing inclusive education globally by nurturing a growth mindset and a communicative approach among fellow colleagues. She is the founder and host of the IKIGAI International Podcast, a series that addresses not only career paths but also personal development. Yousra is currently the Chair leader of the Partnerships for Sustainable Education Special Interest Group (SIG) in TEFL Kuwait, where she facilitates events to empower collaboration for the global SDGs. The sustainability group serves as a meeting point for an inclusive, equitable and quality education to students worldwide by bringing together stakeholders including learners, parents, academic and training institutions, non-profit organizations, public authorities, startups, and enthusiasts about the SDGs’ 4th Goal : Quality Education.
